MINESTRONE SOUP 
4 slices bacon, finely chopped
1 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped celery
2 cloves minced garlic
1 tsp. basil leaves, crushed
1 can beef broth
1 can bean with bacon soup
1 can red kidney beans
1 1/2 soup cans water
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
1/2 c. uncooked macaroni
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. cabbage, cut in long thin shreds

In large saucepan, brown bacon. Add onion, celery, garlic and basil. Cook until tender. Stir in soups, water, tomatoes, noodles and salt. Bring to boil, cover. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. Add cabbage and cook 30 minutes or until tender.
