WHOLE WHEAT BANANA NUT BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. white flour
1/2 c. white flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. seasoned salt or 1/2 tsp. plain salt
1 1/4 c. ripe mashed bananas
1/4 c. buttermilk or plain yogurt
1 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg. Sift dry ingredients together. Combine bananas and buttermilk or yogurt, stirring just enough to mix. Add dry ingredients alternating with banana mixture. Stir in nuts. Pour in greased 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Cool 10 minutes and remove from pan to cooling rack.
