8 frankfurters or wieners
8 slices sandwich bread
8 slices cheddar cheese, optional

Boil frankfurters for 8 minutes. Trim crust from bread and spread with prepared mustard. Add cheese slices. Place franks corner to corner of bread. Pull up opposite corners and fasten with toothpick. Toast under broiler until lightly browned. Turn once.
