INDIAN-MIDDLE EASTERN DIP | |
3 tbsp. sesame seeds 1 (15-20 oz.) can Garbanzo beans or Chick peas (reserve juice) 3 tbsp. olive oil 3 tbsp. lemon juice 2 cloves garlic OR 1 tbsp. ground garlic 1/2 tsp. cumin Toast sesame seeds in skillet. Blend remaining ingredients until smooth, add juice to thin if desired. Mix in sesame seeds, saving a few to sprinkle on top. Serve with triangles of pita bread and health food chips. You can also serve with pita chips or bagel chips. |
