CALIFORNIA TRAIL BARS 
1 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. chunk style peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. non-fat dry milk
1 c. Wheaties (crushed) or 1 c. granola
1 c. raisins
1 pkg. (6 oz.) chocolate chips
1 c. nuts (optional)

Line 9 x 13 inch pan with wax paper. Bring syrup, sugar and salt to boil. Remove from heat, stir in peanut butter and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients except chocolate chips. Cool slightly. Add chocolate chips. Press into pan. Refrigerate 30 minutes. Cut into bars.
