LAYERED CABBAGE SALAD | |
1 med. head cauliflower, cut into bite size pieces 1 med. head cabbage, coarsely shredded 1 med. onion, finely chopped 1 lb. bacon, chopped, fried crisp and drained DRESSING: 2 1/2 c. mayonnaise 1/3 c. sugar 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper Thoroughly blend dressing ingredients in large bowl. Layer cauliflower, then 1/4 of the dressing. Next layer cabbage, following by 1/4 of the dressing. Repeat procedure for onion and bacon layers. Cover bowl with plastic and chill several hours or overnight. Toss well before serving. Makes 8 servings. |
