THE BEST TEX-MEX DIP 
1 can black-eyed peas, cleaned and drained
1 tomato, chopped
1/2 onion, chopped
1 avocado, chopped
Juice from 1 lime
Salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin powder to taste
Dash or two of jalapeno or habanero sauce
Frito Dippers

Mix all ingredients. Chill for several hours or make day before. Serve with Frito dippers.
