1 c. cornstarch 2 c. baking soda 1 1/4 c. cold water Saucepan and spoon Waxed paper Damp cloth Mix cornstarch and baking soda in saucepan; add water and mix well. Bring mixture to a boil and cook until it's the consistency of mashed potatoes, stirring constantly. Scoop onto waxed paper covered with a damp cloth. When cooled knead to remove lumps. Roll out to 1/4 inch and cut out shapes with cookie cutters or make hand prints of your child. If it is to hand make a hole for yarn. Let dry. Paint if desired. |
