COUNTRY PIE 
CRUST:

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. oregano
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce

FILLING:

1 1/3 c. precooked rice
1 c. water
1 1/2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
Parmesan cheese

Combine crust ingredients in large bowl. Press in 9" pie pan forming crust. Mix filling ingredients and pour into meat crust. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes. Remove foil during last 10 minutes of baking time. Serves 6.
