3/4 c. white sugar
1 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1 sq. of chocolate
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. cold strong coffee

Mix first four and sift, melt chocolate and butter over hot water and add to first mixture. Add milk, mix well and put in greased 8 inch pan. Combine brown sugar and white sugar and cocoa and sprinkle over batter and pour the cup of coffee over all. Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve warm with whipped cream. Cut in squares. Take out with a pancake turner. Turn upside down.
