1 lb. softened butter
1 pt. softened vanilla ice cream
4 c. flour
1 1/2 - 2 c. jam

Mix together butter, ice cream and flour. Roll into quarter sized balls. Place on cookie sheet. Flatten with thumb. Fill with jam. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until lightly brown at the edges. Makes about 6 dozen.
