CHICKEN-MACARONI CASSEROLE 
1 c. cheddar cheese, grated
1 c. cooked elbow macaroni
1 recipe med. white sauce
3/4 c. cubed, cooked chicken
1/2 c. soft bread crumbs

Combine 3/4 cup of the cheese with macaroni, white sauce, chicken and crumbs; mix well. Add salt and pepper if needed. Turn into greased casserole. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake at 350 degrees about 25 minutes. Serves 4.

MEDIUM WHITE SAUCE:

Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a saucepan. Stir in 2 tablespoons flour. Heat; stir in 1 cup warmed milk. Return to heat. Cool, stirring, until thick. Season with salt and pepper as desired.
