CRANBERRY SPICE CAKE 
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 can whole cranberry sauce
Dash cinnamon

Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Beat together shortening and sugar at medium speed with electric mixer about 3 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each additional one. Gradually add dry ingredients, mixing well after each additional ingredient. Fold in 1 cup cranberry sauce, raisins and nuts.

Spoon into a well greased 9 inch pan, preferably a bundt pan. Bake at 350 degree moderate oven about 1 hour or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan, inverting on wire rack.

Heat remaining cranberry sauce and dash of cinnamon in small saucepan. Pour sauce over cooled cake. Yield 9 inch bundt cake.
