TURKEY PATTIES IN VEGETABLE
TOMATO SAUCE
 
1 lb. raw frozen ground turkey, thawed
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. celery seeds
1 tsp. browning & seasoning sauce
Vegetable cooking spray
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
2 med. size yellow squash, thinly sliced
1 med. zucchini, thinly sliced
2 tsp. chopped fresh parsley
1/4 tsp. ground savory
1/8 tsp. dried whole thyme
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine first 6 ingredients in a medium bowl; stir well. Shape into 4 patties. Place on broiler rack coated with spray. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes; let cool.

Combine tomato sauce and remaining ingredients in medium saucepan. Bring to boil. Reduce heat, simmer 3 minutes.

Place turkey patties in casserole and pour sauce over. Bake an additional 20 minutes. Yield: 4 servings. This recipe freezes well.
