SWEET AND SOUR MEATBALLS 
Mix:

1 lb. ground beef
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 small flat can water chestnuts, chopped
1 egg

Form into balls. Flour them and place on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. (Place foil on cookie sheet and turn up edges, if sheet is flat).

Sauce:

2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 green pepper, chopped
1 lrg. can pineapple chunks and juice

Combine all sauce ingredients in pan and bring to boil. Simmer 5 minutes. Add cooked meat balls. Can serve in chafing dish.
