CHOCOLATE DREAM CAKE 
2 c. Gold Medal flour
1 c. butter or Crisco
1/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
2 or 3 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt

Sift sugar and flour together. Bring to rapid boil butter, water and cocoa. Pour over sugar mixture and beat. Beat eggs, add cinnamon, soda, flour, salt and buttermilk. Add to sugar mixture. Stir well. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.

FROST IN PAN:

3 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 stick butter
1/2 c. milk
1 box powdered sugar

In a saucepan mix cocoa, butter and milk and bring to a boil. Remove from fire, add powdered sugar. Blend well. Add 1 cup chopped nuts. Frost cake in pan.
