FROGMORE STEW | |
PER PERSON: Water Crab boil seasoning (1 tbsp. per qt. water) 1 (4 inch) smoked link sausage 1 ear corn 3/4 to 1 lb. shrimp in shell, headed Fill pot with enough water to cover all ingredients by 1 inch. Add crab boil seasoning and sausage. Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, then simmer for 20 minutes. Add corn and cook for 10 minutes. Add shrimp and cook for 3 minutes, or until shrimp are opaque all the way through. Drain and serve in large pan or on table covered with newspaper. NOTE: New potatoes and onion may be added with the sausage. |
