HAMBURG SUPREME 
2 1/2 - 3 lbs. ground beef
1 pkg. (12 oz.) noodles
16 oz. cottage cheese
8 oz. cream cheese
16 oz. sour cream
1 green pepper, chopped
1 lg. onion, chopped
8 oz. mushrooms, chopped
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Grated Cheddar cheese
Parsley
Potato chips, crushed (optional)

Cook noodles. Combine cheeses and sour cream; set aside. Brown hamburg, onion, green pepper and mushrooms in frying pan. Add to tomato sauce and mix together.

In a large casserole (at least 5 inches deep), arrange in three layers noodles, cheese mixture and lastly hamburg mixture. Do not stir together. Sprinkle grated cheese over top, then add crushed potato chips. Heat at 325 degrees for 40 minutes. Serves 8-10.

This is a great recipe to serve after a long day of skiing. Can be made two days ahead and kept refrigerated.
