CHICKEN AND RICE | |
1 tbsp. butter 1/3 c. minced onion Garlic 1 sm. can chicken 1/4 tsp. curry Salt, if desired 2 1/2 c. chicken broth 1 c. par-boiled rice, UNCLE BEN'S® In a 2 quart glass casserole, heat butter on high (100% power) for 1 minute or until melted. Add onion and garlic. Heat on high for 1 minute. Do not brown. Add curry powder and salt. Mix well. Add broth and chicken. Heat on high 2-4 minutes or until mixture boils. Add rice and stir. Heat covered with glass lid on high 4-5 minutes, then on medium (50% power) 12-14 minutes or until rice is tender. Let stand for 5 minutes. Makes 8 servings. |
