1/2 c. lard
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. water
1 egg
1 c. + 2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. M&M plain candy

Blend lard and sugar. Beat in vanilla, water and egg. Sift remaining dry ingredients and add to sugar and egg mixture; mix well. Stir in M&M'S®. Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Yield: 3 dozen.
