WHOLE WHEAT CORNBREAD 
1 c. corn meal
1 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
4 1/2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. oil
3/4 c. milk
1 egg or 2 egg whites

Mix dry ingredients. Mix wet ingredients in a separate, large bowl. Fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients. Pour mixture into oiled pan.

Bake in preheated oven at 400°F for 20 minutes.
