CHOCO - DROP COOKIES 
1/2 c. soft shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
2 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 oz. (2 sqs.) unsweetened chocolate, melted

Mix together thoroughly, shortening, sugar and eggs. Stir in sour cream and vanilla. Stir in flour, soda, baking powder, salt, and melted unsweetened chocolate. Chill at least 1 hour. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees about 8 to 10 minutes until lightly browned, just until when touched lightly with finger, almost no imprint remains.

CHOCOLATE ICING:

1 tbsp. & 1 sq. unsweetened chocolate
3 tbsp. milk
1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar, sifted

Melt chocolate squares together over hot water. Stir in milk and confectioners sugar. Thin with milk to make spreading easy.
