DROP FRESH CAKE COOKIES 
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 lb. butter
4 eggs, beaten
3 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in 3 tbsp. milk
1 lb. dates
1 lb. candied cherries, chopped
2 c. pecans
1 lb. white raisins
1 lb. candied pineapple, chopped
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. flour

Add 1/2 extra cup flour to fruit. Mix well, add rest of ingredients. Drop with teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 275 degrees for 20 minutes. Can be frozen.
