BANANA NUT BREAD | |
1 1/2 c. self-rising flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. or 1 stick butter 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. mashed ripe bananas 2 tbsp. sour cream 1/2 c. nuts (walnuts or pecans) Sift together flour and soda (set aside). Soften butter. Stir in sugar. Beat in eggs, add vanilla and bananas. Stir in flour mixture, sour cream and nuts. I put this in 2 small loaf pans or 1 big loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees. Small pans for 30 minutes or a large pan 1 hour. Sprinkle with sugar. P.S. I use Parkay. |
