JEFF'S FAVORITE CHOCOLATE CREAM
PIE - 9"
 
1 c. soft butter
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 lb. semi-sweet Baker's chocolate, 8 sq. in a box
6 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. whipped cream sweetened with powdered sugar
Chocolate bar, optional for garnish on top
1 favorite pie shell, baked & cooled or graham cracker crust

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. While beating, melt chocolate in double boiler to melt. Set aside to cool. Beat in vanilla into powdered sugar and butter mixture. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Beat at highest speed. Scrape sides often. After all eggs are in, fold in cooled chocolate into the egg mixture.

Pour into your favorite pie shell. Refrigerate. Whip cream sweetened to taste with powdered sugar, spread this over cooled chocolate pie. Sprinkle chocolate shavings from chocolate bar over top. This is the best French Silk Pie! Store in refrigerator.
