TEA COOKIES 
3 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. butter
6 eggs
Flour to make dough stiff enough to roll
3 tsp. baking soda
4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. salt
Lemon or vanilla flavoring to taste

Cream butter well. Add sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Add dry ingredients and flavoring. Roll - not too thin. Bake on greased pan, 300 degrees until light brown.
