BEER BATTER FISH | |
1 lb. fish fillets 3 or 4 tsp. Bisquick 1/2 tsp. salt 1 egg 1/2 c. beer Vegetable oil Heat vegetable oil about 1 1/2" deep in heavy skillet or deep fryer (350 degrees). Lightly coat fish with 3 or 4 tablespoons Bisquick. Mix 1 cup Bisquick, salt, egg and beat until smooth. Dip fish into batter letting excess drip in bowl. Fry until golden brown, about 2 minutes on each side. Drain on a paper towel a few minutes to absorb grease. |
