2 c. cooked drained, dry lima beans
(Can use frozen - if dry are used, they must be soaked overnight and cooked a long time.) 1 minced onion 1 minced green pepper 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 c. canned tomatoes
Cook bacon until fat flows freely. Add pepper and onion and cook together for 5 minutes or until tender. Drain off excess fat. Add tomatoes. Bring to boiling point. Combine with lima beans and seasonings and cook gently for 15 minutes.
For a baked lima bean dish, turn into greased dish, top with buttered crumbs and bake about 35 minutes in 375-400 degree oven.
