2 (6 oz.) pkgs. semi-sweet chocolate pieces 1 c. plus 2 tsp. evaporated milk 3 c. fine vanilla wafer crumbs 2 c. miniature marshmallows 1 c. chopped nuts 1 c. sifted powdered sugar 1/2 tsp. salt Mix chocolate pieces and 1 cup milk in heavy 1-quart saucepan. Stir over low heat until chocolate is melted; remove from heat. Reserve 1/4 cup for glaze. Mix crumbs, marshmallows, nuts, powdered sugar and salt in 3-quart bowl; stir in remaining chocolate mixture. Press evenly into buttered 9-inch square pan. Stir remaining milk into reserved chocolate mixture; spread evenly over mixture in pan. Chill until glaze is set. Yield: 36 squares. |
