BAKED STUFFED PASTA 
1 box manicotti
1 1/2 lbs. low fat cottage cheese
1/4 c. flavored bread crumbs
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp. dried parsley
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 lb. sweet Italian sausage
1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
1 lg. jar Ragu spaghetti sauce

Brown hamburger and drain. Boil sausage for about 15 minutes, remove from water, pierce jackets and let drain, cut into bite sized pieces. Add both meats to Ragu sauce in a large bowl.

Cook manicotti according to directions. Rinse and drain in cold water. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix cottage cheese, egg, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, 1/4 cup bread crumbs. Then fill cake decorating forcing bag with cheese mixture and squirt it through manicotti. Spoon enough sauce in bottom of an 8"x11" pan to cover and place stuffed manicotti in pan. Cover with remaining sauce and sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes or until bubbly.
