CHICKEN WITH LEMON SAUCE 
1 (2 1/2 lb.) chicken
1 clove garlic, pulverized
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. salad oil
2 tbsp. catsup
1/2 c. lemon juice
1 sm. onion, grated
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Cut chicken into serving pieces. Place in bowl. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chicken. Marinate for 1 to 3 hours; turn chicken occasionally. Place chicken and oil with lemon sauce into broiler pan 6" from heat; broil, turning occasionally, for 45 to 60 minutes or until well done.

Alternate Method: Place in 325 degree oven for 1 hour or place whole chicken on revolving spit and cook for 1 1/2 hours, brushing occasionally with sauce. Serves 4. Also good cold.
