BEAN SALAD | |
1 can early peas 1 can French green beans 1 can shoepeg corn 1 med. onion 1 med. bell pepper 1 c. celery 1 (7 oz.) jar chopped pimentos 1 tsp. salt 1 c. sugar 1 c. vinegar 1/3 c. oil 1 tsp. black pepper 1 tbsp. water Drain peas, green beans, corn and pimento. Chop onion, bell pepper and celery. In a saucepan mix salt, sugar, vinegar, oil, pepper and water. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring well. Pour over vegetables. Stir. Chill overnight. Serve with hot dogs and hamburgers on a picnic. |
