BROWN EDGE WAFERS 
1/2 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 1/2 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. vanilla

Blend all ingredients together and drop from a teaspoon onto a greased cookie sheet. Try not to drop too close together as they spread. Bake at 375 degrees and keep checking and when the edge of cookies turn brown, remove from cookie sheet immediately and cool on a large paper bag. When cool sprinkle with 10x sugar.
