1/2 c. butter 1 (1 oz.) square unsweetened chocolate 1/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 beaten egg 2 c. graham cracker crumbs 1 c. coconut 1/2 c. chopped nuts Melt butter in saucepan with chocolate. Blend in rest of ingredients. Mix thoroughly and press into 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2 inch pan. Refrigerate while making filling. FILLING: 1/4 c. butter 1 tsp. milk 2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 squares chocolate Cream butter, milk, sugar, and vanilla. Mix thoroughly and spread over crumb mixture. Chill in refrigerator. Melt chocolate, spread over chilled mixture. Store in refrigerator. Cut into squares when chilled. |
