CORN FLAKE COOKIES 
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 c. shortening
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flaked or shredded coconut
2 c. Corn Flakes or Wheaties

Sift flour together with soda, salt and baking powder. Cream shortening. Add sugars. Gradually beat until light. Add eggs and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients and creamed mixture. Add coconut and corn flakes. Drop small teaspoon on greased baking sheet 1 1/2 inches apart. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
