GRAHAM CRACKER NUT CAKE | |
1 c. butter or Spry 6 egg yolks 2 rounded tsp. baking powder 1 lb. finely ground nuts 2 c. sugar 1 lb. graham crackers 2 c. milk 6 stiffly beaten egg whites 1 tsp. vanilla Mix all ingredients together except egg whites. Add vanilla to stiffly beaten egg whites, then fold into mixture. (If batter is too thin, add 1 or 2 tablespoons of flour.) Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until done. |
