FRUIT CRUNCH CAKE | |
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple 1 can Comstock pie filling (cherry or any kind) 1 c. chopped nuts 1 box yellow cake mix 1/2 c. butter 1 pt. whipped cream or ice cream Grease 9 x 13 inch pan with butter. Dump pineapple in and spread evenly. (Juice included, do not strain.) Dump pie filling in and spread evenly. Sprinkle yellow cake mix on top of fruit. Take stick of butter and slice into thin squares and lay all over top. Sprinkle nuts on top. Bake 45 minutes or until golden brown, at 350 degrees. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream. |
