PORK ROAST WITH TANGY SAUCE
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
2 1/2 tsp. chili powder, divide
4 lb. pork roast
1 c. apple jelly (Smuckers)
1 c. ketchup
2 tbsp. vinegar

Rub salt, garlic salt and 1/2 teaspoon chili powder on roast. Bake at 325 degrees for 2 hours. Mix in saucepan jelly, ketchup, vinegar, and remaining chili powder. Bring to a simmer for 2 minutes. Brush on roast 15 minutes before done. Take remaining mixture and mix with drippings for meat sauce.

This is a different taste for pork. My family all requests this one for the holidays instead of turkey or ham.

I tried this recipe and everyone loved it. I am wondering if anyone has tried this sauce with chicken? I was thinking of using it with chicken breast tenderloins.
