PLUM CONSERVE (MARMALADE) | |
4 lb. blue plums (available in August, September) 1 lb. English walnuts 3 lb. sugar 4 whole oranges Grind fruit and nuts together (coarse blade). Cook about 30 to 40 minutes, until thickened. Add sugar and stir until dissolved. Pour into hot clean jars and seal, or freeze in suitable containers. Keeps well frozen. |
