SWEDISH LACE COOKIES 
2/3 c. butter
2 c. quick oats (raw)
1 c. sugar
2/3 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. corn syrup (Karo)
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (12 oz.) pkg. milk chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Bake for 5-7 minutes. Melt butter in medium saucepan; low heat. Remove and stir in oats, sugar, flour, corn syrup, milk, vanilla and salt. Mix well.

Drop by level teaspoons 3 inches apart onto foil lined cookie sheets. Spread thin with spatula. Bake. Cool completely on wire racks. Peel foil away. Spread with melted chocolate.
