1 box butter cake mix
1 - 11 oz. can mandarin oranges and juice
1/2 cup oil
4 eggs
nuts if desired

Mix all ingredients together in bowl.

Bake 3 layers at 325°F for 25 minutes. Let cool thoroughly and frost.

Frosting:

1 - 3 oz. pkg. vanilla pudding mix, dry
1 small container Cool Whip
1 large can crushed pineapple, with juice

Mix together and spread on layers. Keep refrigerator.
