HOT CHICKEN NOODLE DISH | |
1 (3 lb.) chicken, cooked and taken from bone 1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles (boiled) 2 c. mushroom soup (white) 1 sm. onion (chopped fine) 1 sm. green pepper (chopped fine) 3 stalks celery (chopped fine) Pinch of salt and pepper 3 tbsp. mayonnaise 6 or 7 drops Worcestershire sauce 1 can water chestnuts, sliced Stew chicken and take from bone (cut in chunks). Boil the noodles until done. Mix chopped onion, chopped peppers and chopped celery and heat in skillet a few minutes in 1 can mushroom soup. Put layer of chicken then layer of noodles in casserole dish and pour over ingredients plus the other can of mushroom soup, mayonnaise dressing, Worcestershire sauce, last put the sliced water chestnuts over top and bake 35 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve with cranberry sauce. |
