CREAM CHEESE CHOCOLATE CUPCAKES 
1 pkg. chocolate cake mix (no pudding)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Mix cake mix according to directions on box. Spoon batter into greased or lined muffin pans; fill 2/3 full. Combine cream cheese and sugar; cream until light and fluffy. Add egg, beating well, stir in chocolate chips. Spoon 1 heaping teaspoon cream cheese mixture into center of each cupcake.

Bake at 350°F for about 25 minutes or until done. Remove from pans and cool. May ice if desired.
