BUSY DAY COBBLER 
3 to 4 c. fresh peaches
1 stick butter
1 c. Bisquick
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1/2 c. water
1 c. sugar (for peaches)
1 tsp. fruit fresh

Peel and cube peaches, cover with 1 cup sugar and mix with fruit fresh. Let stand overnight, covered in refrigerator.

Melt butter in 9 x 13 x 2 inch glass baking dish. Mix (in bowl) Bisquick, 1 cup sugar and milk combined with water. Pour over melted butter. Do not stir. Pour peaches into mixture. Do not stir.

Bake at 350°F about 45 minutes to 1 hour or until golden brown; (other fruits may be used.) May be served hot or cold. Juice will thicken as it gets cold and will be dry if not enough juice to begin with.
