SAUSAGE BREAD 
1 lb. sausage (hot Italian)
3 med. onions, diced
1/4 lb. mushrooms, diced
8 oz. cream cheese
1 French bread

In a large skillet crumble sausage and cook thoroughly. Add onions and mushrooms. Cook until onions are soft. Drain excess grease from sausage. Add cream cheese to sausage mixture and mix until cream cheese is melted.

Dig out the center of French bread from both ends. While sausage mixture is still warm, stuff the hollow bread with sausage. Slice in 1/2 inch pieces and serve warm. Makes a tasty evening starter.
