SLICED CARROTS-MICROWAVED 
1 lb. fresh carrots
1/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt

In 1 1/2-quart casserole, place 1/4 cup water and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Add the sliced carrots. Cover; cook and stir carrots after 7 minutes. Cook until fork tender 7 minutes or little less. Serve immediately. Drain water off. Tastes so sweet.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
