CARROT SLAW BY THE SLICE 
2 env. Knox gelatin (unflavored)
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. apple juice heated to boiling
1 c. sour cream
2 c. shredded carrots
3/4 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 med. apple, chopped fine

In large bowl beat sour cream into 1/2 of gelatin mixture. Chill both until consistency of unbeaten egg whites. Fold carrots into plain gelatin mixture and press into 9 inch pie pan to form crust. Fold remaining ingredients into sour cream mixture and turn into prepared pie pan and chill until firm. Slice and serve.
