2 c. miniature marshmallows
2 c. sliced strawberries
1 pkg. (3 oz.) strawberry Jello
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs

Grease 9x13 baking pan. Spread marshmallows across bottom. Combine strawberries and their juice with dry Jello. Set aside. Combine remaining ingredients. Beat well. Pour batter over marshmallows. Spoon berry mixture over top. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Reduce heat to 300 degrees and bake for 15 minutes. Marshmallows will rise to the top.
