THE BEST BROWNIES 
1/2 c. melted butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
1/3 c. Hershey's Cocoa
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. nuts (optional)

Stir together butter and sugar in mixing bowl. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well with spoon. Stir in flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; beat well until blended.

Spoon into greased 9 inch square pan. Bake 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until brownie springs back when touched in center. Cool. Frost.
