MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 
3 qts. of popped popcorn
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. white syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Combine in bowl sugar, butter, syrup and salt. Bring to boil in microwave and boil 2 minutes. Add soda. Put popcorn in brown paper bag, pour syrup mixture over popcorn and shake well. Microwave on high 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. Shake bag well. Microwave again 1 1/2 minutes. Pour on cookie sheet and stir so doesn't stick until cool.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
